Two ingredients for faster slimming

Taking supplements like vitaimn D and calcium during the diet may lead to an increased loss of fat tissue compared to the diet without supplements.

In the journal "Nutrition Journal" is published a research that suggests that vitamin D and calcium help with weight loss.

Namely, during the diet (-500 kcal / day) volunteers who was taking a dietary supplement of vitamin D3 (125 IU) and calcium (600 mg) for 12 weeks lost more fat than subjects with equal initial body weight at the same diet, but without taking a dietary supplement.


Moreover, it was found that participants who took supplements lost an average of 55.6 % of adipose tissue and kilogram more than respondents who doesn't take food supplement.

Respondents who took supplements lost fat in the stomach area, which is particularly important because the accumulation of fat around the abdomen is a risk factor for chronic diseases.
